Really enjoyed these one-sheets for some classic films.
Straight-forward layouts & warm hues.

This mesmerizing video took three weeks to make. Try viewing it with and without the sound for entirely different experiences. The screen compositions alone are terrific.

The Modernist

This book looks to be full of items I’d love to have hanging on my walls. Lots of minimal, forward-thinking approaches coupled with aesthetics of yesteryear.

Truly looking forward to a night under the stars with the NSO and this classic.
Making its Wolf Trap debut, this Best Picture Oscar Winner and WWII love story will be shown on large screens in-house and on the lawn, with the full score played live by the NSO.

Some incredible installs from Sweden. With all the varying dimensions of the items, these photos seem impossible.

Meyer May House – Grand Rapids, MI

A few weeks ago, I was able to check out this Frank Lloyd Wright commission. Built in 1908, it’s a classic example of his “Prairie School” era. Wright’s long perpendicular lines have always been the first thing to strike me and an iPhone camera doesn’t do this one justice.

Brilliant work here, especially: moon and also the process of slide #5. Could also be filed under “Less” because it’s so concise.

Simple, yet effective. I’m trying to imagine these in contrast with the rest of the cans on a supermarket shelf.

Art of the Title

A great montage showing the evolution of the title sequence. Some of my favorites included are Saul Bass’s Psycho & Vertigo, the visceral chaos of Se7en and the stark minimalism
of Alien.

This four minute video was shot over the course of six months on the Appalachian Trail (2,200 miles). So cool, and so on my bucket list.

Another Metropolis Ride
In: Metropolis, Yore
This concept vehicle would be another great addition for the imminent re-make.
Although at the price tag of $110,000, it’d probably end up being CG’ed.
